Durgapuja is a big festival in India specially in the state of WestBengal.This year it will be celebrated from 29th Sep to 2nd Oct. Tomorrow is Mahalaya. Mahalaya is an auspicious occasion observed seven days before the Durga Puja.It is a kind of invocation or invitation to the mother goddess Durga, goddess of supreme power to descend on earth.This is done through the chanting of mantras and singing devotional songs early in the morning.
